Assessments

I just wanted to take time to tell you that your kids are doing an incredible job on their assessments. As I watched them today they all worked their absolute hardest, took their time, and put forth 120% effort. You should be very proud of them.

I showed this video to your children but wanted to share it with you as it is a great laugh!!

Have a great Tuesday!!

Challenge #3

How is spring break going so far? I hope there is a lot of sleeping in, playing outside, and spending time with friends. I spent today with my Grandma and am looking forward to the NCAA basketball tournament starting tomorrow.

It's a fun and simple challenge today. In honor of the upcoming March Madness I found an awesome and inspiring sports story.

Go to the following link and read the story about two brothers. I want to know what your reaction is. Please try to use text base evidence as you respond.

Spring Break Challenge #1

Happy Spring Break!!!

I hope you guys are enjoying some time away from school. I realized yesterday I forgot to post our spring break reading challenge #1 so I am posting two today. If you participate at a minimum 3 times you can be included in the celebration when we return.

Take a look at this article: Big Drinks  (Click on the words Big Drinks)

I would like you to read this article and then post your reaction in the comment section. Do you think our lawmakers should tell us what sizes we can and can't order? Do you think they are looking out for the well being of the citizens by regulating the size and amount of sugar we intake? How do you think our lawmakers can best help the health of our country?

Happy Reading!!!!
